Johnny Pinkerton

Johnny was one of five college students from Crown College in Knoxville, TN killed in a fiery car crash June 4, 2004. These young people were the best of the best. They were traveling the country ministering to high school teens by encouraging them to find God's will and take the highroad in service to Him. Johnny had just finished his freshman year and had been rejuvenated in the Word of God. He was never opposed to serving Christ- He just never made it real in his life until that year. Bible College changed him and God changed his heart. Johnny was our favorite. He was the cute one, the funny one, the smart one, and the talented one. We were not jealous of him - We were very proud. We still are. Johnny wanted his friends and teens everywhere to understand that a relationship with God is necessary to live a life of any importance and influence. He found true Christian leaders that had a genuine love for Christ. He committed to the Lord to do His will, and God took him before he had opportunity to fail. A pure life of devotion to God - that is what we now see in his life lived on earth.
